Sr. Back End Engineer II

May 2022 – Present

As a Software Engineer at Loadsmart, a leading logistics company, I began my first international professional experience. Joining the company in May 2022, I have been integral to the “Capacity Generation” team, focusing on microservices architecture.

In January 2023, I transitioned to the financial team, where I started working on exciting projects, including the freight audit and payments.

In December 2023, I was promoted while keeping my position in the same squad at Loadsmart.

Globo

Software engineer

At the beginning of 2021, I started to work at Globo, the biggest media-tech company in Latin America. I’ve Always been fascinating with Globo innovations and I always followed events and talks with Globo engineers. I am part of the DB-Dev Team, which creates solutions for Database admins. Our main product is the DBaaS, an open-source platform like Amazon RDS which provisions and manages databases on demand, currently compatible with Redis, MongoDB and MySQL databases.

  • Contribution in defining new technologies and architecture for new services;

  • Creating and maintaining some Flask APIs which works as integrated system;

In 2020 I started working as a tech lead at Trade na Mão. My biggest challenge in this period was my first contact with leadership as it was a totally new experience for me.

Software Engineer

After working for about a year and a half as a full-stack, I was promoted and started working exclusively with the back-end. This gave me the opportunity to work in areas that I have great passion for, such as infrastructure and security. I learned a lot about performance, scale, and quality. The hardest obstacle to overcome was to maintain a system with billions of daily requests in addition to implementing new technologies from POCs.

I joined Navegg at the end of 2016 when I moved to Curitiba. My main challenge in this initial period was to rewrite the Data Management Platform. The backend and frontend were rewritten using Django 2.0 and AngularJS. Also, I was responsible for maintaining the application from analyzing requirements for new features to deploy the application.
